enterprises and landowners. As a member of the Libertas Land Crew, James integrates stewardship, operational rigor, and capital strategy, positioning land as a productive and generational asset.

James plays a strategic role in advancing veteran participation in regenerative agriculture. He structures land access pathways, develops disciplined training frameworks,
and designs scalable enterprise systems that enable returning and retired veterans to explore agriculture with ownership opportunities. 

Since 2017, James has studied and worked under Dr. Allen Williams, developing a science-based and business foundation in soil health, adaptive grazing, and regenerative ecosystem function.  As a partner in Etta Hills Farm, a diversified regenerative livestock enterprise, James applies these principles hands-on, integrating grazing systems, livestock management, supply chain coordination, and direct-to-consumer marketing. 

James holds an Associate degree in Agribusiness and a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Communication. A husband and father, he is passionate about living close to the land and creating opportunity for the next generation.
