JD Williamson serves as a Regenerative Land Advisor with Libertas Land, bringing practical, real-world experience as a third-generation farmer and cattleman from Kenansville, North Carolina.

His family operation includes a wean-to-finish hog enterprise, a 120-head cow-calf herd, and approximately 450 acres of corn, soybeans, and small grains.  JD’s primary responsibility is managing the cattle and crop enterprises, giving him firsthand experience in balancing operational performance, profitability, and stewardship across a diverse agricultural business.

Committed to practical implementation, JD focuses on integrating soil health principles, adaptive grazing management, and regenerative farming practices into everyday operations. His approach centers on building resilient systems that improve land health, livestock performance, operational efficiency, and profitability.

After graduating from the Soil Health Academy in 2018, JD has continued to apply regenerative principles and adaptive grazing strategies that deliver measurable economic and environmental benefits. JD brings a producer’s perspective to Libertas Land, helping farmers and ranchers implement practical regenerative solutions.
